I recently picked up a blackwidow v4 keyboard in the hopes of using it for work and home. I work at home and frequently switch between wireless and bluetooth to go back and forth from home (wireless) and work (bluetooth). On my work PC I can't have synapse installed, so I'm trying to utilize the onboard memory system to use some basic macros.
I'm having difficulty doing a couple of things and I can't seem to find an answer so any help is appreciated.
I can create a macro, for example C:\users\XXXX\desktop. I use this to just quickly save things to my desktop without having to type it out. I created a profile on the 3rd/blue onboard memory spot and with synapse opens it works. On wireless it works, but if I change to bluetooth it doesn't work anymore. I make sure to press Fn + end to go to the 3rd onboard memory profile and the lights change to blue to indicate it's on the correct one. I can't figure out why this won't work.
Less important, but I can't seem to get the copilot key to be rebound without synapse. I'm just trying to return the functionality back to an application key, so I tried rebinding it to menu, but as soon as I close synapse it starts bringing up the windows copilot setting screen and stops acting as menu. This is on either wireless or bluetooth. It just loses the keybind as soon as I close synapse.
