Got the Basilisk V3 in November and a few weeks later the Blackwidow V4 Pro. Been loving them until a few days back when all of a sudden, when rebooting or cold starting the computer, the keyboard and mouse are lit but once I get to the Windows Welcome screen after about a minute, the keyboard lights go out (except the numlock indicator) and the mouse freezes on whatever color it was at the time.
After I log in to Windows, it all starts working fine. And if I lock the computer, they stay lit.
The funny thing is if I uninstall Synapse and Chroma, they work perfectly, but I didn’t pay about $240 for both kb and mouse to not be able to program them or use the Chroma.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Synapse/Chroma several times, but as soon as it gets installed, the issue comes back. Support just wanted to replace the kb (not the mouse) without any troubleshooting but I don’t think it’s a hardware issue.
Any thoughts?
