Blackwidow X Chroma - Key Issue

Hey all,

I’ve got a Blackwidow X Chroma and I’ve noticed that recently the H key seemingly works randomly, sometimes it’ll be fine while I type (like now) but other times I’ll notice it’ll miss the key completely.

I’ve cleaned the keyboard and sprayed some compressed air around it.

Can the actual key (not the cap) be removed so I can clean the contacts underneath? Couldn’t find an obvious way to do so.

Howdy, @Delodien!

Try to reinstall your keyboard’s drivers by following the steps below:

1. Press Windows + S on your device to open the Search bar.

2. Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.

3. Go to "Keyboards" or "Human Interface Device".

4. Right-click on the Razer BlackWidow X Chroma and select Uninstall device.

5. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other workarounds.
