Been getting a black screen when the laptop starts running hot from high CPU/RAM usage. I don't think it is a crash, as the laptop keyboard lights and the power indicator lights are still on (power indicator LED in an on-off breathing pattern), but the screen is black. Nothing seems to turn the screen back on and I'm forced to do a hard reset.
This appears when gaming, rendering and most recently, during a disk cleanup.
I've updated my graphics drivers, so don't think it is a corrupted display or graphics driver issue. As no error message is displayed, its quite difficult to pinpoint the source of the black screen.
Has this issue been reported before, and if so, were there any steps to filter out the culprit of the issue.

We're highly likely dealing with faulty hardware. By the way, have you tried using an external monitor? If so, did you notice any improvement? In any case, please send me the serial number of the laptop if this guide will not help. I can use that to look into model-specific fixes.
