Blade 14 2023 Crashing on Battery Power

In the past few months, my 2023 Razer Blade 14 has become unstable when operating on battery power.

95% of the time, my laptop is connected to a Thunderbolt 5 Dock Chroma, receiving power from the dock. When connected to the dock the laptop behaves normally. The laptop also appears to behave normally when disconnected from the dock but otherwise connected to a power supply.

When I disconnect from the dock (or a power supply), the laptop will function for a few minutes before crashing and presenting a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR message. The crash is typically preceded by opening a few browser tabs or the like.

As far as I can tell, my battery is not discharged. I can’t recall the last time the indicated battery reserves were below 50%. I do run Synapse Battery Health Optimizer, so the max charge is 80%.

Is this a known issue and are there any available fixes I can try? I’d really like to be able to use my laptop on battery power. I’d appreciate any help on this.

Came here to post the exact same problem. 2023 Blade 14 shuts off a few minutes on batter power after displaying the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (0x124)

I've only ever used the official razer brick that came with the laptop and always charge to 80%. Did a fresh windows install to no avail.

LMK if you hear any suggestions for a fix

Hey guys,

If you continue to experience the issue, please send me a PM with the serial number so I can use it when I forward your case to our Technical Team. Please also send a photo of your receipt/invoice so I can include it as well. You can upload it to any hosting service like Google Drive and provide a shareable link. Just check the file so that anyone with the link can view it.
