My Blade 14 won't seem to boot up. I closed it when I needed to leave, then opened it up when I came back, and now all I get is a little green pulsing light. No screen, no response. The keyboard initially lights up, but it eventually goes dark after sitting for a little while and won't turn back on again.



I've followed the steps listed on the support website for resetting the device: I plugged it in, held down the power button for ten seconds (until the power LED briefly blinks light), then pulled out the power cable, and then released the power button. I let it sit for a few minutes, then plugged it back in and tried to turn it on, and it's the same story: keyboard lights up for a little while, the power light turns green and starts pulsing back and forth, but nothing happens and the keyboard goes dark.



Is this a common problem? Is there something else I can try to fix it, or should I just call in the warranty?

For now, isolate the issue further by following the steps on this link. Should the problem persists, PM me the serial number of your laptop. I can use that to verify its model and find a better way to fix this.
