Hi,

I have a Razer Blade Advanced from 2021 and I am also affected by the bloated battery (as mentioned several times in the forum already). The device is out of warranty and I am searching for a replacement for the battery model RC30-0367

The model of the laptop is RZ09-0409AGD3

Was anyone successful in finding a replacement for this model? It looks like it’s really hard, because the big battery resellers do not list this model. There are other like the RC30-0248, which are available, but according to a reddit thread, it fits except one screw. If possible, I would like to get a proper replacement.

It’s really sad that there are so many reports about that issue for a laptop, that cost 2,5k back then…

I ordered a replacement battery from akkubuy.de

It’s not found via the search for some reason, but the support from the shop sent me that link. I will keep you posted if it fits and works once it has arrived.

The replacement battery was delivered in the meantime. It’s the model RC30-0248, which I also saw in several online shops before.

It fits, but one mount point is at a different position. This is not a problem, but one screw will be obsolete with the new battery.

I don’t have any experience yet with the battery runtime, but my touchpad is working well again.

 

How did you manage that? it won’t fit for me as the obsolete screw mount is in the way of where my SSD is installed.. also the ribbon cable isn’t folded?

it was tricky and you have to slightly bend the obsolete mount a bit, so it can slide in between the case and the mainboard. Once it’s in there, it helps to hold the battery in position, but you could also just cut it. The screws hold the battery properly in place.
