Blade 15 Advanced - No Audio | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I recently bought a used Blade 15 Advanced and, after reinstalling Windows 10, there is no audio.

There is a single sound controller shown in Device Manager... NVIDIA High Definition Audio using driver 1.3.38.60 dated 5/3/2021. There are no other audio devices in Device Manager (No RealTek or anything).

Also, Sound Control Panel shows four (4) of these...

"NVIDIA Output/NVIDIA High Definition Audio - Not Plugged In"

Likewise the sound icon in the tray says "No speakers or headphones are plugged in"
I think there might be some audio issues in general with this model. I have multiple audio controllers and ever single one of them will only output muted sound to one ear/speaker. No amount of reinstalling Synapse or Windows will change this. I'm starting to suspect a problem with the motherboards they had produced for these...

I will need more information so I can take a closer look. Please provide me the following:

-Serial number of the laptop

-Video/screenshot of Device Manager showing the audio drivers

-Photo of BIOS main tab

-Screenshot of System Information

-Screenshot of your Windows Update history

-Razer Synapse version

Please save the files in your Google Drive or another online drive, then send the link via PM. Let's continue from there.
