After updating to the official BIOS 2.05 (AMI 2.22.1287, build 01/07/2026) via the Razer updater, my Blade 16 (2023) shows "Secure Boot Violation – Invalid signature detected" at every boot.
Device: RZ09-0483TEM3
EC FW: 2.01
Access Level in BIOS: Administrator
Security tab shows:
- System Mode: Deployed
- Vendor Keys: Active
- Secure Boot: Enabled (locked, cannot be toggled)
- No Key Management, no Restore Factory Keys, no Reset to Setup Mode
Troubleshooting already performed:
1. EC/CMOS reset (power adapter disconnected, power button held 30+ seconds) – no change
2. Restore Defaults (F3) + Save & Exit (F4) – no change
3. Fast Boot is disabled
4. Booting a freshly created, current Windows 11 USB installer via Boot Override – the USB triggers the SAME Secure Boot Violation, confirming the firmware key database itself is corrupted (it rejects even current Microsoft-signed bootloaders)
The official workaround (copying securebootrecovery.efi to a USB) does NOT apply to my case, because it requires disabling Secure Boot first, which is impossible – the option is locked.
This is the same defect documented in topics 88083 and 86379. My device is out of warranty, but this was caused directly by Razer's official BIOS update, not by hardware failure or misuse.
Please provide the recovery firmware package to reset the Secure Boot keys / Platform Key for RZ09-0483. Serial number available via PM upon request.
