Blade 16 (2023) RZ09-0483 – Secure Boot Violation after BIOS update, locked in Deployed Mode

After updating to BIOS 2.05 (AMI 2.22.1287, build 01/07/2026), my Razer Blade 16 (2023) shows "Secure Boot Violation – Invalid signature detected" at every boot.
In BIOS Security tab:
System Mode: Deployed
Vendor Keys: Active
Secure Boot: Enabled (cannot be changed)
No Key Management, no Reset to Setup Mode, no Restore Factory Keys available
Administrator password is set, options remain locked
Windows only boots with Secure Boot disabled, which breaks anti-cheat-protected games.
This is the same issue documented in:
https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/blade-16-2023-rz09-0483x-bios-update-v2-03-has-caused-a-signature-violation-86379
Please provide the recovery firmware package to reset Secure Boot keys / PK for RZ09-0483.
Serial number available via PM upon request.

Hello BiosBroken,

Here’s workaround you can try for the secure boot issue. Please follow these steps carefully:
1. Get an empty USB thumb drive.
2. Enter your system BIOS/UEFI.
3. Disable Secure Boot.
4. Save and exit, then let the system power up into Windows.
5. Run Command Prompt as Administrator In a command window, copy the recovery app to the USB Thumb drive using the following commands (assuming the USB Thumb drive is the “D:” drive). Type each command separately and then press
Enter:
md D:\EFI\BOOT
copy C:\windows\boot\efi\securebootrecovery.efi D:\efi\boot\bootx64.efi
6. Enable secure boot in BIOS
7. Insert the flash drive, restart the device, press F12 and select boot from the flash drive.
8. Follow on screen instruction.

After this, the issue should be resolved. If the problem comes back after you disconnect the power adapter for more than ~20 seconds, it likely means the CMOS battery is no longer working and needs to be replaced.
