I’m experiencing severe performance limitations recently as after a reboot, my core ratio is locked to x42 maximum. Earlier with the same -125mV under volt on core and P cache, and I have an x54 set limitation and it boosts to ~5.3Ghz single core easily.
I’ve done some preliminary investigation, and I found out that the service “NVIDIA Display Container LS”, when disabled, allows me to boost back to 5.2G after a restart, but it also creates graphics card performance issues (lost of 2k in time spy) as well as disabling the Nvidia control panel.
With this service enabled, when I boot into BIOS, make no changes, and choose save and reset, I can also have my 5.2G boost.
So now either I have lower GPU performance, or I need to go into restart and boot from BIOS everytime I want to use my laptop.
