Blade 16 Video and sounds stuttering, dropped frames, audio cutout

Recently my Blade 16 w/ RTX4070 started exhibiting video/sound issues. When attempting to play a game the video and sound stutter to the point of unpayabilty and youtube video playback suffers as well. Videos start to play, lock up, stutter sound, and occasionally will play video with no sound.

I have run all the latest updates, Windows, Blade, and Nvidia; nothing fixed the issue.

Any help is appreciated.

Same! I have a 2023 14”. I haven’t touched it in a few months. I was playing a game on it earlier, it was fine. Ran some windows updates and now I have the same issues as you. Also a 4070 GPU. I've done a reset twice since I didn't have much on here but that did not fix it.

The only thing in updates that stood out to me was TPM updates via Windows update and after that it seemed to start this nonsense. Id really like to avoid nuke and repave option.

If I somehow find a solution Ill let you know!

I am in the same boat as y’all, no media at all can play without stuttering and stammering. Hopefully a solution can be found soon!

I’ll be working on it myself and let any and all know if i find something!

After 2 resets before going to nuke the machine I turned this off and its seemed to alleviate the issues SO FAR. I haven't had much time today to test with games running and what not but I will later.

I knew it was some kind of sync issue and it seems this was the culprit for me. Hope this helps someone!

I turned that off and it does appear to fix the issue.

I recall seeing a sticky on the forum main page related to THX, perhaps its related.

Glad it helped! For me, the last time I did updates prior to last night was like June/July. So I don’t know if it was some driver update from July to now that was included in my windows updates yesterday.

I was playing games watching videos JUST FINE until those updates.
