Hi,
I have an older Blade 17 - Model No. RZ09-02202E75. Recently, I heard what sounding like popping from within and the unit seem to be overheating, so I immediately shut it off. I took the back cover off and found the battery swelling.
So I ordered a new battery since it's out of warranty, but it looks like one of the pins inside where the battery plugs into the motherboard is broken. When you look in it, the very top right pin is half the length of the rest. I did try plugging in the new battery to see if it would work, but it didn't register it being connected. Can anyone help with sourcing the new piece or advise me on what to do with this?
