Hello Razer Support,

I am unable to update the BIOS on my Razer Blade 18 (2023). The updater runs and the system reboots automatically, but after booting back into Windows the BIOS version remains at 2.05.

Device details:
- Model: Razer Blade 18 (2023) — RZ09-0484
- System SKU: RZ09-0484TKH3
- [removed by moderator]
- Current BIOS: 2.05 (build date 09/19/2023)
- Target BIOS: 2.09
- EC FW Version: 1.07 (already latest)
- MCU FW Version: 1.04.00.00
- Microcode Revision: 10F
- CPU: Intel Core i9-13950HX
- OS: Windows 11

Troubleshooting steps already performed (issue persists after each):
1. Removed Windows Hello (face recognition and PIN) — the updater's Windows Hello warning no longer appears
2. Verified BitLocker/Device Encryption is fully off (manage-bde -status shows "Fully Decrypted / Protection Off" on all volumes)
3. Disabled Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) and the Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist in Windows Security
4. Ran the updater as Administrator
5. Switched GPU mode from dGPU-only to NVIDIA Optimus and rebooted before retrying
6. Confirmed Fast Startup is disabled; performed a full shutdown (Shift + Shut down) before retrying
7. Disabled Secure Boot in BIOS and retried
8. AC adapter connected at all times; all other applications closed; Windows fully updated

Despite all of the above, the update never applies — the system simply reboots and returns to BIOS 2.05.

Could you please advise whether there is a known issue with the BIOS 2.09 updater for this SKU, or provide a manual/recovery BIOS update procedure?

Thank you.
