I received my new Blade 18 with the 5090 today. After completing all Windows and firmware updates from Razer, I tried to use my LG monitor through the HDMI port, but it’s not working properly. Specifically, I get a black screen on both the laptop and the external monitor, followed by an automatic reboot that keeps looping.
I’ve made sure the GPU drivers are up to date from both NVIDIA and Intel. With the “dedicated GPU only” option enabled in the BIOS, I can get the external monitor to work, but only at 60 frames per second. If I change the refresh rate to anything other than 60, the monitor goes black until I revert it back to 60.
Is there a fix for this issue? Thank you.
