Blade 18 Bios Update to 98.3 5c 40.26 Does Not Acknowledge

I have gone through the install process for all three of the most recent firmware updates, have confirmed that my bios and other systems are up to date, but Synapse still tells me that I need to update my bios and the version detector is in constant overdrive.  I need help or I’m going to throw this brick under a door to hold it open since that’s about what this hunk of garbage is worth.

    I’m here to help and I apologize for the frustration this has caused. This definitely isn’t the experience we want for you. Since Razer Synapse still isn’t acknowledging the BIOS/firmware update even after you’ve run the latest installers and confirmed everything is up to date, I’d like to escalate a ticket on your behalf. Please send me a  PM with the following details so I can proceed:

    • Country/Region
    • Product name: Razer Blade 18
    • Product code/number: 
    • Product serial number
    • Order number: 

    Once I have this information, I’ll create a case and work with our Support Team to investigate what’s causing Synapse to repeatedly prompt for the BIOS update. Thank you for your patience. I look forward to your message.
