Blade Pro mousepad sticks

For the last 6 months my mousepad on my Razer Blade Pro seems to have a sticking issue when clicking. Sometimes when i click, it won't "unclick". I have to push around on it to find a spot that'll unclick it and sometimes it triggers something to shut my laptop off immediately. It's starting to get extremely annoying. I've not spilled anything on it and i take good care of it. I bought it refurbished so i'm a bit concerned that this was a prior issue. Any past experience with this or advice? Between work and graduate school, there's no way i can send it in and wait weeks or months for it to be returned.
