Blade Updater Error

I had to reinstall windows via a USB because I accidentally messed up permissions in a folder. I've reinstalled the drivers I believe, and I've made sure to download the OEM software, however the "Blade Updater" doesn't work because it states the "Firmware tool is only used with Blade and other compatible systems". I've heard something with the SN not being in the BIOS anymore? But I didn't mess with BIOS at all, so I don't see why that would be the issue. (although it might be). Thanks in advance!
