As title says, when I use my Atheris in bluetooth mode, on MacOS, with Synapse 2, it forces the mouse wheel scrolling to be linear, which is pretty annoying and slow to scroll through large content.
Uninstalling or signing out of Synapse 2 fixes the problem, but then mouse buttons 4 and 5 don't work any more.
If I use the mouse in dongle mode the scrolling works fine, but I'd rather use bluetooth and keep the USB port free if possible.
Is there any chance of an update to Synapse that will allow for the default OS mouse scrolling (acceleration based). Just the same is it works in dongle mode.
Thanks.

Hey there! Our Razer Atheris is only compatible with Razer Synapse 2.0. Also, Razer Atheris will not work in MacOS since our Razer Synapse. You can help this happen by leaving feedback on your Razer Synapse 2.0 so our Developers can receive it directly.
Thanks for the reply, but this information is incorrect. It is supported (link to Razer support page). The Atheris shows up in Razer Synapse 2.0 on MacOS just fine, and this bug (scroll acceleration) only happens when the mouse is in bluetooth mode, using the 2.4ghz dongle there's no problem. However, if v2.0 is no longer getting bug fixes/updates that's a shame.

Thanks for pointing that out. I checked that out, and indeed, the Razer Atheris is only compatible with Razer Synapse 3.0. if you are using Windows OS. However, it will show up in Razer Synapse 2.0 if you're on macOS. Anyhow, if you have a Windows PC, please install Razer Synapse 3.0 and get your mouse updated. If in case the issue still persists, please send me a PM together with your mouse serial number. Let's continue from there.
