Brand New Kiyo Pro Can't Upgrade Firmware

Just last week purchased a Kiyo Pro from the Razer store on Amazon, and opened the box today.  When I try to use it in Synapse, I’m prompted for a firmware update, but when I start the update process, I’m directed to support.

When enter the details, it tells me my unit is out of warranty.  This is a brand new, in the box unit, how can it be out of warranty already?

Hi @bebop_man,

Have you tried updating the firmware manually by follow the steps here? If that didn’t help, please PM me the serial number so I can verify its model and check my resources for model-specific workarounds to help you. Thanks!

That link, like the link on the Help with Firmware, just takes me to a video on how to install Synapse 3.  Which I already have, and doesn’t address the issue.

I’m at work now, I’ll PM the serial number when I get home.

There’s a tab for driver & download where you can find the firmware v1.5.0.1_r1. I have received your PM and let’s just continue there so I can assist you accordingly. Thanks!

I noticed that I have an update to install , but says that I have to contact support. Once I click, shows me a video of how to install Synapse 3. I am not be able to install any update.

I have exactly the same problem
My model is the "Razer Kiyo Pro" model: RZ19-03640100-R3M1, SN: PM2104L03606473

The current firmware version is: 1.0.3.2

I have tried updating the versions:
 - RazerKiyoPro_0E05_FirmwareUpdater_v1.5.0.1_r1.exe
- KiyoPro_FirmwareUpdater_v1.04_r2.exe
- KiyoPro_FirmwareUpdater_v1.03_r4.exe

In all cases, in the Firmware update application, the connected camera, the current version and the firmware version to be updated appear, the "UPDATE" button is disabled and in the center of the application, the message "To continue with the update , contact Razer customer service"

Can you give me an explanation why this happens?

Is there any solution?

Yes exactly the same for me.

I even contacted Razer support a few times but they could not help me. just showed me that YouTube link to how install Synapse 3 :/

I don’t know why they can’t help. and why this is happens.

Why we can’t just update our Kiyo Pro webcam as normal with firmware updater?? Why should we contact support to make this update? and after I contacted you, still have the same problem and can’t update it.
