SOLUTION: if you go to the bottom of the mouse switch it off and then to Bluetooth mode and then to 2.4 again it starts working again.

Do not ask why this works IDK (:

u are a genius thanks XD

I’ve owned my Basilisk V3 for two years now and the scroll wheel just now stopped scrolling entirely. It started malfunctioning and stopping scroll in mid scroll every once in a while about 4 months ago. and that stopping increased more and more until I thought to open it up and clean it out yesterday. Because I figure it could be cat hair, since I got a long haired cat last winter. I pulled a lot of cat hair out of the scroll wheel and put the mouse back together. and it fixed it for a day but now the scroll wheel is not scrolling at all.
So I’m not sure what happened exactly but if other people are having issues with he scroll wheel on this model, then I’m guessing that is the issue here.
I love the Basilisk V3, I love the ergonomics, I love the lights, I love the synapses software, the programable lights that work with this mouse, I love the features on this mouse, the scroll toggle, the slow down button for precise movements, the mouse speed changing button, the saving profiles. I love all of that and I don’t need any of that to change, I just hope the scroll wheel issue can get solved because I love how everything else works. If there is an issue with the scroll wheel.
I mean who knows it could be some driver conflict. But I installed the latest driver and reinstalled synapses, then updated to synapses 4 and none of those fixed the scroll wheel. When it comes to technological issues I often get lost in the troubleshooting. I hope I didn’t break something when tinkering with it.

huh, now it’s working again after a minute a scrolling up. Strange. I don’t know what it is.
