Brand new Razer Thresher 7.1 PS4/PC Mic echoing / monitoring | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a new Razer Thresher 7.1 for PC/PS4 headset. However, when using it on both my PS4 and PC, I can hear my own voice as I speak, and I can't figure out how to disable this feature. I previously used an older version of the same headset, which didn't have this issue. My old headset broke after 2 years, so I bought the same model again, but now this echo is quite frustrating.

I've tried the headset on multiple devices, including my PS4 and laptop, and the problem persists on both. I've read various suggestions online, including holding down the mic volume button, did it for over 30 seconds, but this didn't work. I also saw a recommendation to check for USB dongle firmware updates, but the installer didn't seem to recognize the dongle.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any advice on how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Same issue, the echo persists even when PC/console is turned off, and Headset is one which makes me think it’s not widnows sided (as most guides would says so)
