Broken Chair, Expired warranty

I have the enki and have been using it for some time, about a year ago when the warranty was still up i had these rods sticking out along side the edges of the chair which has cut me a few times, im pretty sure nothing can be done but I figured I would just ask the question if anything can be done to fix it, if not I'll probably buy a new chair.
