broken joystick lost all tension on wolverine v3 pro

Was playing with my wolverine v3 pro controller and the left joystick just suddenly lost all tension, it is loose, sort of dangles in its socket, and can spin. I was gaming with the controller when it broke but it was during a moment I was barely using it, not during any intense usage like I would expect. It just randomly gave out during a very mundane moment. What should I do? Is there some sort of way to service these things?

I just ran into the same issue. Commenting to hopefully get some help

My Razer Wolverine V3 Pro (Xbox) has developed an issue where the right joystick now spins freely in circles. This began happening approximately one month before the manufacturer’s one-year warranty expired.

The controller was purchased on December 1, 2024 from Best Buy, and the issue started roughly one month prior to the warranty expiration.

I’ve tried searching for repair information, but there is very little documentation online about replacing the joystick module on this controller. Considering the $200 price point, I would have expected either greater durability or clearer repair options.

I’ve also come across multiple posts from other customers mentioning difficulty obtaining support for Razer controllers, which is concerning.

At this point I’m hoping someone from Razer can clarify:

• Is there a recommended repair or replacement procedure for the joystick module on the Wolverine V3 Pro?
• Are replacement parts available, or does Razer offer out-of-warranty repair options?

I’ve generally liked the controller overall, but having this failure occur so close to the end of the warranty period is frustrating. I would appreciate guidance from Razer support before deciding on future controller purchases.

After posting this and submitting an inquiry to Razer Support, I never received any meaningful communication or follow-up.

Given the price point of the Wolverine V3 Pro, I would have expected at least a basic response regarding repair options, replacement parts, or warranty/out-of-warranty support. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and the apparent absence of a clear repair path for a premium controller is very disappointing.

While I have generally liked the Wolverine V3 Pro as a controller, Razer’s lack of communication and support has made it difficult to justify purchasing or recommending Razer products going forward. A solid controller platform means very little if the company does not stand behind the product or provide customers with a reasonable path to repair.
