My REALTEK sound device seems to be broken. When I play any sound on it, there's no sound and all other sound devices also stop working.
If I go to Control Panel --> Sound and run "Test" on a device, it should play a short sound and the green sound power indicator should show something. This works for other devices, but for the REALTEK device, the sound doesn't start and the entire Sound dialog freezes. Sometimes it even blanks out the list of sound devices and says I have none. Reboot and the devices reappear, sometimes they reappear after a while without reboot.
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall all sound devices, including checking for updates. I've also updated the computer's firmware and run Intel's update tool, which updated two unrelated things (Bluetooth and WiFi). Didn't help.
Windows 11.
Computer model is RZ09-03519N11-R3N1.
Any ideas?
