Hello. I recently purchased a 2019 model Razer Blade 15, factory refurbished. I have had it for 11 months now and don't game on it as often as I'd like - the reason being BSODs!
I have downloaded several games from Steam of various system requirements - the lowest demand being No Man's Sky, which was released in 2016 originally on the PS4, and the PC requirements are well below what my laptop has.
Other games include:
Forza Horizon 5
Red Dead Redemption II
Cities: Skylines
Regardless of which game I'm playing, it seems to function normally for an undisclosed amount of time. Then randomly, without warning, I get the BSOD and a full crash and reboot. This happens at random times, and with no discernable cause.
I stay up to date with drivers as much as possible, run nothing in the background, keep my RAM cleared, and regularly scan for viruses or threats. I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be, but I at least know how to do that much so I do. When the BSOD comes up, it gives me about 5 seconds with an error code and a QSR code - not even long enough to react, grab my phone, and snap a photo so I can actually read what the error code is. This has been very frustrating as I know the information related to the cause may be written on the screen and I never have enough time to catch it. I bought this PC for gaming, and it is simply not serving its purpose. Can anybody tell me why it's doing this, or how to fix it? I still have a month of warranty left, and am considering calling in on that.
