Can Barracuda X dongle be dead after an software update?

Hi, so one night I was updating things on my computer and got notification that the old Synapse will stop working. I dowloaded the newest version and after that things stared updating. I went to the kitchen (3 meters away) and the headphones made a wierd noise and then they turned off. Since that point computer does not recognise the dogle at all. Additionally I checked and tried to connect the headphones to the other devices via Bluetooth but I was unable to do it. I really like the headphones and I don’t want to give up on them and would like to use them without the cable. Is there any solution that I missed?
