Can Razer mice get infected with virus?

Greetings,
Two days ago my laptop was infected with a virus by a fake captcha that told me to put a scrpit.Because I’m dumb I did that and I had to format my laptop so I’m not sure if my mouse (Basilisk V3) could have been also get infected by it.
