Can't choose an output device on Razer Kraken TE 7.1 surround sound app

I just recently bought the Kraken TE and while setting this up, I can't go through with choosing the output device. It's just greyed out as shown in the ss. I'm using windows 7 and also tried applying updates, but still won't work. pls help, thanks!

the software are only available on windowd 10 64-bit
