Can't connect either Thunderbolt 4 port to a USB-C monitor | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello,

I recently purchased the latest Razer Blade 17. I'm trying to connect a USB-C monitor to it, but the monitor isn't getting a signal from the laptop.

I tried connecting the monitor to a different USB-C device and it's working fine, so it isn't a monitor issue.

I also tried connecting the laptop to a different monitor and it still didn't work.

When I connect my phone or tablet to either of the Thunderbolt 4 ports on the laptop, it works, but it seems a bit slow (takes a while to open photos from the phone/tablet).

I tried using a USB-C cable, a USB-C (laptop side) to Displayport (monitor side) and even a hub.

Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Please advise.

Please be aware that using a converter/adapter for display may or may not work for Razer Blades. Please send me a PM including the following:

a. Photo of the BIOS main tab.

b. Screenshot of Nvidia/Intel Driver Version: (Press Windows+R on your keyboard. Type in DXDIAG into the run command text box and hit OK. Then click on YES. Click on the Display 2 tab and look for the Nvidia version on the right side.)

c. Screenshot of Windows version (Hit Windows + R. Open the Run box with then type winver)

Save the files via Google Drive or any online drive account, then paste the link in your PM. I’ll be locking this thread now to divert our conversation privately.
