There’s a couple problems I’m facing, but the one posing the biggest obstacle is in the title.
My headset’s microphone only works when I connect to Synapse, but Synapse only detects my headset when it’s plugged in. I believe this is due to it having not been activated, and I’ve read its serial number is beneath the left ear pad. However, I can not get the ear pad off - it doesn’t matter how hard or where I pry, it is just stuck on.
I also can’t contact support about this because my device’s serial number is required to contact them, and as I’ve said, I can’t get the serial number.
Is there any way to fix this, or a way to not need to activate it, or do I just return the headset? Having a fully wireless headset is my primary concern when buying a headset, so if this can’t be fixed the headset is useless to me.
