Can the Viper V3 Pro bundled HyperPolling Dongle be paired with a Viper V3 Pro SE?

Hi,

I currently have a Razer Viper V3 Pro with its original bundled HyperPolling Wireless Dongle.

I understand that the Viper V3 Pro can only be paired with the dedicated HyperPolling Dongle that comes with the mouse.

However, I would like to know whether this same bundled dongle can be unpaired from the Viper V3 Pro and then paired with a Viper V3 Pro SE in the future.

I am considering purchasing a limited-edition Viper V3 Pro SE as a backup mouse. If my current Viper V3 Pro ever fails, I would like to use its original HyperPolling Dongle with the V3 Pro SE.

Is this officially supported?

Thank you.

Hey there, @JoGeBye1206

I understand that you would like to know whether the original HyperPolling Wireless Dongle bundled with your Razer Viper V3 Pro can be unpaired and then paired with a Viper V3 Pro SE in the future.

Upon checking, although both devices use a HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, the Razer Viper V3 Pro is designed to work with its dedicated bundled dongle and not with the general HyperPolling Wireless Dongle sold separately. As you correctly mentioned, the Viper V3 Pro requires its dedicated dongle for pairing.

With that said, unpairing the bundled dongle from your current Viper V3 Pro and attempting to pair it with a Viper V3 Pro SE is not officially supported, and its functionality cannot be guaranteed. Compatibility and pairing behavior between the dedicated dongles of these devices may vary, so there is no assurance that the dongle from the Viper V3 Pro will work properly with the Viper V3 Pro SE.
