Can the wired Basilisk v3 be disabled or turned off temporarily?

I have certain games that I use a gamepad for and whenever the mouse detects any of movement or vibration, it will flip the interface in the game from the gamepad bindings to M&K bindings.  Normally, this is only a minor annoyance, however I’m currently playing a game that when this happens it causes my character to stop dead in their tracks.

I was hoping for a way to perhaps bind one of the buttons on the mouse itself as an on/off toggle but I can’t find that functionality.  I’d like to not have to disconnect it from its USB port if possible, but I will if it comes to it.
