Cannot connect Basilisk X Hyperspeed to 2.4

I have never been able to connect my Basilisk to 2.4 USB dongle. I have been only been able to connect via BT. I have recently purchased the Blackwidow v3 mini Hyperspeed keyboard and tried to use the MULTI-DEVICE PARING feature in Synapse. But it still will not connect. So it was not an issue with the dongle that came with the mouse. The keyboard is connected via 2.4. Any help or tips or tricks will be highly appreciated.
