Cannot update BIOS nor install Razer patches - Blade 14 late 2016.

Hi there,

I was advised by other user to raise a ticket in terms of problem I have with patching the firmware.



Every time I try to install anything from this page https://support.razer.com/gaming-laptops/razer-blade-v5/

(my Blade 14 2016 6700hq 1060) I got the message.

"This firmware tool is for use only with Blade and compatible system.

The application will close now."



My BIOS is still on 2016.



And my Synapse doesn't have power set up options but I am not sure if this connected to firmware.

This is a bit tricky. I'll need you to send me a PM with the serial number and product number of of your RB14 as listed on the bottom part of the laptop.

It has to be through PM. Also, you shouldn't put up details like serial numbers in public as they are an important part of things like RMA.
