Cant use the sequence setting on Macro's anymore

So I have a bunch of macros, some I made earlier rely heavily on the sequence setting. When I tried to make a new one that only contained Macrogroups it didnt work so I checked if it was on Sequence, wich it wasnt, so I set it to Sequence and tried again. It didnt work. Long story short, everytime I set the macro to Sequence and go to another tab it just switches back to not be Sequence. Can anyone help? Is there maybe a way to edit the macro file and set it to Sequence that way?
