changing dpi staging on synapse 3 wont work, but exiting synapse works when clicking stage button

I am currently stuck at 800dpi-ish, when synapse is working in the backround, I cannot change the dpi staging when I press the dpi stage button or changing it directly in synapse, it still says 400-1800-4500... on the bottom right but my actual mouse cursor speed and ingame dpi wont change. But when I exit synapse, and I click the dpi stage button on my deathadder it works, but only goes from 800 to 16000 the deafult dpi, usually its 400.
