Charger and thunderbolt cable connected

Hi, I have one question. My Blade 17" (2022) is connected to power source as well to thunderbolt dock (CalDigit TS3 Plus) and CalDigit can support charging up to 87 Watt. So my question is, is it ok that my Blade is connected to Razer power brick as well as to CalDigit TS 3 Plus? Will it damage my battery? Does it charge "double way" (sorry if it is silly) or Blade automatically recognize when power brick is connected and "cut off" charging from thunderbolt port? Thanks in advance for your help :)
