Charging Issues with Newly Purchased Razer Naga V2 Pro and Mouse Dock Pro

Hello,

I recently purchased both the Razer Naga V2 Pro and the Mouse Dock Pro. Unfortunately, I’m experiencing an issue when trying to charge the mouse using the dock.

When I place the mouse on the dock, the charging indicator briefly flashes green a few times, then the regular RGB lighting turns on for a moment. Shortly after, it stops charging. This cycle repeats continuously. In Razer Synapse, I can also see that charging stops and then starts again repeatedly.

Both devices are running the latest firmware. I have tested multiple USB ports on my system, and the issue persists even when the PC is powered off. I have also tried reseating the charging puck multiple times to make sure it is properly connected.

I plan to test the setup on another computer later today to rule out any system-specific issues. However, this behavior doesn’t seem normal for a charging process, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this.

3 months and no answer…

 

I have the exact same issue. Mouse at 5% and left charging overnight brought it up to 42%. That's so slow it is pathetic.

Having same issue. Charging stops every 20 seconds and then starts charging again 3 seconds later. It stops and starts consistently. Charges just fine when I plug the mouse in. Pretty disappointed since I just bought this mouse and wireless charger yesterday.

Yeah I have the same issue, yet again Razer’s fantastic customer service is not to be around. feel like dropping them like a bad habbit. sick of problems and no answers from Razer. just as bad as Logitech with getting back to customers.

Having the same issue and finding that after swapping around all parts and switching out cables, the source of the problem is the mouse dock pro, will be returning this product to Razer.

My advice if you happen upon this forum when considering buying the mouse dock for for the naga v2, dont.
