Chroma not working with games

I have a Naga Trinity and a few other chroma devices, but when I am in a game the supports chroma like Apex Legends the peripherals do not change. I currently have my Naga set to static from the quck effects menu. i was not seeing any effects from the chroma visualizer, i did a reinstall and that fixed the issue. Would I need to delete my entire game library to fix this issue?
