So, to preface, it was working perfectly before. But after a gaming session one evening about a week ago, I noticed my wrist rest on my Huntsman Elite was no longer lighting up. Also noticed that the entire lower row of keys (space bar, ctrl, alt, etc) also wasn’t lighting up.
So I do the typical USB connection/port change test, and no difference. I of course make sure the wrist rest is connected and the connectors are clean. And nothing. I do a firmware check, full uninstall and reinstall of everything razer, and still no change.
I turn off Chroma Visualizer, and everything lights up fine. All effects in studio work with the entire keyboard and wrist rest. So LEDs and connections are working. Chroma Studio also immediately detects when I disconnect and reconnect the wrist rest.
I try other chroma apps, such as Wallpaper Engine, and they work fully with the Huntsman Elite’s LEDs. Everything lights up.
So after trying google search and various trouble shooting, I’m left with trying here to see if anyone has any similar issues with possible solutions. Or if Razer Support can help.

EDIT: AFAIK when Chroma Visualizer was working fine, Synapse 4 and Chroma were the same app version as it is now. It was fully up to date at the time though.
