Cinnamoroll Headset cant stay conencted to PC for more than 5 seconds at a time

I just bought the the new Cinnamoroll edition of the Kraken V2 Bluetooth headset.  Just found out I cant use it with my Playstation but obviously thats a Playstation thing.  They work just fine playing music on my phone but when I try and connect to my PC its a whole MESS.  The headset wont stay connected to the computer for more than 5 seconds at a time.  And if it does, theres no audio at all.  Ive double checked that they are my “default audio device” and Im right next to my computer so theres literally no distance at all between the devices.  I saw somewhere online that having a bluetooth mouse could be the issue but i refuse to believe one other device using bluetooth can mess things up this badly.  and given that they work just fine using bluetooth on my phone in the same place im trying to use it with my computer i doubt thats the issue.  Please help :(
