Clarity needed for warranty before I buy a new headset! | Razer Insider

So, I have recently bought a Razer BlackShark V2 CouRageJD Edition headset and I was wondering if I am eligible for the 2 year warranty because I have read over the specifications needed but it is unclear if any damage by a pet is liable and I made sure to keep the headset in a rest off the ground but the cat has seemed to chew completely through the wire and the headset no longer works, if anyone has an answer or can support me on this I would be thankful and as to where I go from here to apply for the warranty as I have everything it came with because it is pretty new.
