Clean desk solution with eGPU possible?

Hello, I have a system of 2 (alternated used) Laptops at a TB-3-dock, a display and clasic peripherals (mouse, keybord etc) running. Laptop 1 has TB4 and is with Win10 and Linux dualboot, Laptop 2 has USB 3.1 Gen1. Please see attachment "1_systemNow.gif" Sometimes I do heavy load stuff with Laptop 1 and want to use an egpu. Is it possible to connect it to the TB-dock like attachment "2a_solution1.gif"? Do I need to use a dedicated display cable ("A")? Will that disturb the (none-TB) Laptop 2? Perfekt would be "2b_solution2.gif": using only the egpu also for dock-purposes. But will the egpu translate the video signal coming from Laptop 2 into DP/HDMI w/o using its card? Because Laptop 2 has no TB... Thank you very much! Alex
