Compatible graphics cards for Core V2

I have a Core-X chroma at work loaded with a RX5700XT card and it works fine.  Just bought a used Core V2 for home office work (slimmer and fits on my smaller desk better).  I bought another RX5700XT, but unfortunately, it is too wide for the slimmer enclosure (just).  Slightly tempted to trim the plastic casing of the 5700 to make it fit, but wondered whether there was another card that I should use instead?
