Connect Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma to an USB port that is not on a computer? | Razer Insider

Hi,

I have my Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma adhered to the wall and currently connected to my PC. However, I wanna move the PC but not the Goliathus, so I was wondering:

Can I connect the Goliathus to another USB port, for instance one on a charger or plug connector?

Does that depend on the voltage? What V is required/too much? Possibly a maximum of 5, as PC USB ports? I could not find any information on that, and I have no idea about electrical engineering :D

Obviously I won't be able to control the lighting, it should behave as it would without drivers installed, correct?

Any answers would be appreciated, ty
You can connect the Goliathus Extended Chroma to any free USB ports. It should also work when plugged into a charger's port, but it'll only display its default lighting effects. There should be no problem with the maximum voltage as long as the hub can supply what the device needs. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any other concerns.
