Connecting Blackwidow Elite keyboard?

Which of the 2 usb plugs is for keyboard power, the skinnier plug or the thicker plug? Do I still need to plug in the 3.5 mil audio plug into my computer if I don't want to use the pass through port on the side of the Blackwidow keyboard? Will I get sound if I don't plug that jack into my audio in jack on my computer and just use my computers headphone jack? Thanks

    You'll want to plug in the thicker USB connector for the keyboard to function. The skinnier one would be the passthrough, and no, you don't have to plug in the 3.5mm audio jack if you're not planning on using the port.
