Core X Chroma USB problems

Hi! I have bought the Core X Chroma and I am experiencing a lot of problems with the USB hub. I have connected an external disk and when I want to access it, my Mac keeps freezing. Sometimes the disk would not get recognized at all and I have to switch the Chroma on and off a few times to make it work. After I have done some research it seems like it is a common issue and I wonder if there are any plans to fix it? Unfortunately, the Razer support was not very helpful so far.
