Cracking audio and sound volume fluctuations in Razer Kraken V3 after update Synapse 4

Hello, I had a problem with my Razer Kraken V3 Headphones . Today, my Razer Synapse 4 updated on 30-07-2026 . After that, the sound in my Razer Kraken V3 headphones became terrible. The sound began to fluctuate in volume and there is a feeling as if someone in real time turns the equalizer, so the sound becomes unbearable. Also, if you start watching a Youtube video for example, the sound only comes on after 2-3 seconds and after that it also sounds terrible.

Part of what has helped is disabling “Sound Enhancements” or turning on “Disable all additional effects” in the Windows 11 sound settings. But the problem is that doing so disables the entire Razer Synapse 4 program (i.e. all my profiles, EQ settings, and THX Sounds (spatial sound)).

hope this problem will be solved, as I have been using spatial sound and equalizer in Razer Synapse all the time.

HI Mintfastfocus654,

I’m here to help! Sorry for the trouble with your Razer Kraken V3 after the Synapse 4 update. Please try disable the Razer synapse and test if issue occurs. If the headset works with Razer Synapse disabled, please do a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse on Windows, then reinstall the audio drivers:

  1. Open Device Manager.

  2. Expand Audio inputs and outputs.

  3. Right-click the headset and select Uninstall device.

  4. Restart your computer so the drivers fully remove and reinstall automatically.

Feel free to PM me with your headset serial number if the issue continues after performing the steps. All the best!
