Check Your system latency for example with latencymon.

It’s a hardware problem in my opinion. I have similar problem when connecting any pro audio usb interface and use asio drivers. That’s only when dedicated nvidia gpu is selcted (workaround is to switch to intel optimus gpu found out myself) The audio has rally bad crackling sound. I’ve send my laptop for repair - it came back with i7 instead of my original i9 cpu. I’ve send it again and it came back with the first issue plus new one - just the switching of gpus in bios and the laptop goes into recovery loop. I solved that by removing the additional ssd i installed before. After the system reboots once I could install the ssd back.

If it was a hardware problem, I'd hear the crackles too. But only my viewers in discord can hear them. I've been reading, this is a long-standing problem, but I'm not quite sure how anyone has it. In synapse 3 I didn't seem to have these crackles.

P.S: Synapse 3 has this crackles too. 

I also read that if you turn this item on, it will fix everything. This is true, but now this sound card is useless.

p.p.s: Synapse started crashing endlessly when the sound card was connected. I returned it to the store.
